Update

Just to let ya all know, My gyn called and the results came back as NORMAL!! We are so happy. I go and see the surgeon on Friday, and I am grateful that it is all over. I am so grateful for all your prayers, love and support. I don't think you can get through things like this with out it. I love ya all lots!!

Prayers and Blessings

This is something I contemplated putting on my blog. But since this is some what my journal here we go. Back a couple of months ago I had some pain in my chest on my left side. I went to the doctor to get it checked out. He suggested that I have a mammogram done. So off I went to embark on a adventure that I thought would happen in about 5 years, not 5 years to soon! Well long story short, the pain on the left side was nothing but, it was on the right side. I met with the radiologist, surgeon, and my gyn. I have a LUMP. Both of my grandmothers have both suffered from breast cancer and I knew that it could happen to me, but not this young. So after two long and the nerve racking months, I had surgery! We got to the hospital and found that the lump had disappeared. But there was fluid and junk left behind. We are waiting for news as to what it is. And yes it can happen again. So thank you for all the prayers and for the blessing from my wonderful husband and dad. I know it made a difference. I am so grateful for the priesthood in my life. If I had not listened to the spirit, who knows what would have happened, I am truly blessed. I am doing fine now, just a little sore and tired. Trying to get back on my feet.

Cold Weather

Well the weather has gotten a little cold lately. So we had gone up to the mountain a couple of weeks ago and brought down some wood to burn on our fire place. Well we felt we need to add to our pile. We had deiced to go to the mountain again two weekends ago, but then we got to thinking. In the back part of our property we have a forest of mesquite trees and wanted to use our own resources and cut down our own trees and save the gas money. So here is JJ cutting down a fallen tree and the back of the truck loaded up!! We have alot to go! I feel like in time that you would just go into your back yard or somewhere and cut down a tree and through it in the fire!! Next the garden or a grassy front yard? Who knows!!

Happy Halloween

Crazy! Here we are again, and its Halloween! This year justin dressed up as Anikin sky walker, and kashlee dressed up as a lady bug. They has so much fun. We went trick or treating at the ball Fields in central. We like it there cause they can see with all the big lights. We met some good friends their and some fun family. We ate hot dogs, laughed and took lots of pictures. Me and JJ went as ourselves this year. Hope you all had as much fun as we did.

Pumpkins

For family home evening we craved pumpkins. We each had one and had so much fun craving them. We ordered pizza and laughed and had lots of fun as a family. JJ put kashlee on top of justin pumpkin and she didn't like that very much. When we put them out side she kept saying "ewwwww" and didn't want to carry it. Now we cant wait to lite them on Halloween!!

Fair Parade

Justin got the chance to be in the Fair Parade. He said that he had to walk so far, and he was so tired. Joyce and Shar and her boys came to show support. This year the parade was so long. You can tell in the picture he was a little embarrassed at how crazy his mom is. We then ate at McDonalds for lunch, and went to the fair that night. I have to say that it was a really fun day!

Busy, Busy, Busy

We have been so busy these last couple of weeks. JJ's family had a roping in September and we had so much fun, even Kashlee got her roping in to get ready. Then my sister had her baby shower that me and my mom threw for her. We had so much fun and had really good food to eat. If you didn't know she is having twins and they are GIRLS!! We cant wait! A Girl Cant Have Too Many SHOES!!

Kashlee is obsessed with shoes. I bought these boots at target the other day, and you should of seen her face when I gave them to her. She loves shoes, No shoe is safe, Boys, Dads, Moms, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, and boy cousins, Even Maziee has had to sacrifice a shoe or two. On the wrong feet or the right ones, she is puttin um on. And if they dont fit she gets MAD. I feel her frustration, I have the same addiction to the shoes in my life. My mom always said that a girl cant have too many pairs of shoes, and purses. We are working on that one! So in the mean time our days consist of the trying on of the shoes. A girl after my own heart.

JJ my LOVE

Ok I have to post it!! I just read jennifers blog about clint and remembered all the times that JJ has said stuff or done stuff while asleep. Well me and JJ went to my parents house last weekend. We stay in my sisters room since she is home at last. Well we forgot the play pin and so kashlee slept with us in the king size bed. Well it was about 3 in the morning and she started to cry a little, all of a sudden JJ jumps out of bed and starts fumbling around and grabs my sister I-pod on her dresser and it lights up, so he starts saying "I got a light, I got a light!!" and spinning around in circles yelling at the top of his lungs while holding it in the air. I'm like what are you doing, your going to break the I-pod get back in bed. So he came to bed and started to snore like nothing ever happened. I could go on and on he's a crazy sleeper. He still doesnt remember anything. It must be an Alder thing, steven has some crazy stories also. Sorry boy's!!!!

HaPpY BiRtHdAy

Happy birthday to the cutest boys!! Seth already had his and rileys is today. They both turned three!!! It is so exciting to see these little boys grow up so fast. I love them so much and hope they had and have a great birthday!!! Love you boys, Love Aunt LoLo

If You Didnt Know?

Well if you hadn't noticed my little kashlee has a bump on her forehead. No she didn't hit it and I don't beat my kid. When kashlee was about 3 months old one day she had a red dot on her eyebrow. I watched it for a couple of days and decided to take her to the doctor. So I made a appointment and went to see the doctor. Right away he said that it was a hemangeoma. It is when a bunch of blood vessels collect under the skin and causes it to make a bump. We see a ped. plastic surgeon every three months. Hes a really good doctor, and we trust him alot. He said that it should be gone by the time she is 6. Just in time for kindergarten. We have to be really careful with it because she could hit it and bleed really bad. And if she does we go to the ER!!! So it does look like she hit it really bad and that it hurts, But she didn't hit it and it doesn't hurt her at all. But I don't mind talking about it and just ask me any questions, I love talking about something that might help someone else someday.
We think she is the most beautiful baby we have ever seen. Boy do we love her. So also in the process we saw a eye doctor to have her eye checked out and we found out that she is severely far sighted, just like her dad!! So in Oct. she gets to wear eye glasses. Fun, Fun, Fun!!!!!!!!!

Catch-in-up

Well summer is about to end and school begins. Justin will be in the 3rd. Grade, I cant believe it. He has grown up so much in the last year. He is such a good brother and he loves her so much. He has been so much good help this summer, I don't know what I will do when he goes back to school. Well my wonderful friends have got me addicted to the most wonderful and exciting book I have ever read. You guessed it TWILIGHT. Boy I cant put it down!! It's been fun!!! Well life is going good and we just trug along. Well you wont believe what happened, Well when we got our pictures of the beach, we used Cim's camera. So I took my sd card so that I would have them and not have to get them from anybody. Well I stuck it in my pocket and thought to my self, " when you get home take it out!" Well as you can guess I didn't. I washed it in the washer when we got home. So I air dried it out and as you can tell it worked and so I have been scared to put it in my camera. So sorry for all the up to date pictures.

Week long Vacation

Well we lasted a week in L.A. JJ's mom rented a beach house in Huntington beach for a week. It had 4 bedrooms so everyone had there own space. Well we drew straws and JJ got the longest straw and so we got the biggest room. Nice huh. Well we drove to mesa on Friday and left early Saturday morning for cal. We got there about 4 in the afternoon and hit the beach! Then on Sunday we just hung around and they said that we hit a heat wave and they had no ac or a swamp cooler.
So we just sat in the heat and about died. But it cooled off the next day. Then Monday we just went to the beach and played. Me and cim said that we need to go to the store so we hit the old navy, children's place, and Tilly's!!! Score we got tons of good stuff. Then on Tuesday we went to Sea World and had tons of fun. We left late that night and had a long drive home to the beach house{ sea world is in San Diego}.

Then on Wednesday we spent the day at the beach and ate at Joe's crab shack. I just got a hamburger, sorry not crazy for the fish. Then on Thursday we went to raging rapids, it was so much fun going on all the rides, kashlee had a blast running in and out of the water and going down all the sides.
This time justin could go on the rides that we could go on. Then friday we spent the last day at the beach and we went down to new port beach and took family pictures by some rocks. It was perfect because it was sunset. We then had steak dinner at the beach house and packed for the long day ahead. It took us 12 hours to come home and very cranky baby's. But we had a blast and were so glad to have our dad for a whole week to ourselves. Thanks for the great vacation Joyce!!

Family

Family is the most important thing in my life. I was raised by loving, selfless, incredible people in the whole world. Being the oldest in my family, I had the honor to be the big sister to 2 sisters and 2 brothers. And my family ceases to amaze me with there wisdom and love. I have very smart brothers and sisters who humor me at times. I always know that they will always be there for me and will never turn there back. For that they have my up most respect. They love my family and never judge. I hope someday that I can be just like them. I don't get to see them as much as I like but when we do its the BEST, And we cant wait till the next time. I thank Heavenly Father every day. I am so Blessed! Love you Guys!

All my life I have been able to have great friends. At different parts of my life they have played a big role in who I am. In high school, we were called the fearsome foursome. Crazy, but we had the most fun times of our lives in high school. They made it bearable. We got together recently and had lunch and caught up on things. I hope to have these friends forever and ever. Love you Guys!!

EnD oF tHe YeAr

Its Finally the end of the year for justin. He has so much going on! He had his end of the year program at the school. He sang this fish song and had a part were he held a big blow up fish or a hammer head shark, he says. Then he has a party at the safford pool and then a party at his class room, and then the last day of school and then starting baseball with his dad being his coach. Gosh when do we slow down. But I like being busy, it makes things fun. Then swimming lessons, Maybe summer school{Fun classes to keep him busy}. Then we have a vacation in San Diego in June. Then school in Aug. Run, Run, Run, Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

Busy, Busy, Busy

Boy things have been so busy lately. We had maziee's birthday party this last weekend. She is in love with shrek, so her birthday was full of green m&m's, green punch, and green frosted cupcakes. She is the cutest niece we ever had. We then spent the rest of the day playing in the pool, kashlee just put her feet in the water, it's still a little cold.
We also bought a new car. Its a 2004 ford expedition, We love it!! We finally have more room to do a whole lot more things and take more people with us when we go. We also have a baby that is teething and was very sick. We felt so bad for her, so we spent most of the weekend holding our baby and coming to her every need. Now that she is better she thinks that she can wine all the time and be held. You all know how the all goes. But I am glad that we are past all that and on the mend.

SlEep WaLkInG

Ok Crazy thing,I caught Justin the other night walking around in my room in the middle of the night. He went into every corner of the room. It freaked me out. So last night something woke me up and I saw justin walking down the hallway going to the living room. So I woke up JJ and told him to go check on him. He was walking around the table in the kitchen, so he walked him back to his bed and stayed with him for a while to make sure he was ok. So when he left for work he saw that the back door was open a little bit, and he remembered that he lock it before we went to bed. So I don't know what to think or do. So I went to web md looking for advice. I hope we can figure things out soon. Scary and Crazy at the same time.

EaRs and BotTLes

Kashlee has always loved to play with her ears. This has always been a problem from the beginning. She had an ear infection and we didn't know because she always plays with them. Its always when she is tired, mad, or just chillin out. Her hand just go right to the ear. Hers are not the only one either, ours are at risk too. At Christmas we took some cousins pictures and there where her hand right on her ears. I think its the cutest thing. Her little quirk. Then there is her bottle I think we are going to have a hard time taking it away. She is aways asking for it. I only give her juice in a sippy cup, so she knows what a sippy cup is. But I know things will get rough when we start taking it away. Boy oh Boy!!

JuStiN

Boy Has time flown by. Its amazing how I never thought that I would someday have a 8 year old son. And I never thought that he would someday be a big brother no less. He is so loving to his little sister and would bend over back words for her. She can come knock him over the head and he shakes it off and gives her a hug. If that was my little sister she would pay for that one. Yet we have our challenges with kids stuff, we are not perfect and are learning everyday, life is still fun. He is so smart, which I am so glad. Help full when hes in the mood, loving when things go his way, and an amazing child to me. I Love my Buster brown.

Kisses

lately JJ has been driving his dads semi's to work and picking up a load of copper and then at times driving it to Miami. So on some days we as a family go with him. We pack lots of snacks and the ever important DVD player, blankets, and toys. Well lately Kashlee has started to give kisses and makes it a game. Too cute, we just love to play along. So I was sitting in the seat and the game began. Kiss after sweet kiss, she wouldn't stop. JJ had to take the funniest picture ever. Being in the truck was so hard for kashlee, because she loves her dad. That weekend was conference weekend and she never left her daddy side. So to see him right next to her just killer her litterly torture, she cried till she fell asleep. Cant blame the girl.

Roping?

JJ, Steven, Chauncy, and His dad have been working on building an arena on this land that they call the 4 aces. Many Saturdays and evenings have been put into making the best alder arena there is. So on Saturday after a long day of working of on the arena they finally got to put the cows there and attempt to teach them what to do. The cows don't have any idea what they are in for! To make things more fun for everyone, the girl are looking for a swing set for the kids to play on and to stay out of the way and have something to do besides playing in the mud. And justin is excited because he gets to run the shut. Exciting days ahead for JJ and the boys. So anybody wanting to learn to rope or in need of some excitement come on over. Kashlee just points at the cows and says "hi,hi,hi" and "oooooh"!
